The AI industry in India is currently in its infancy. Many call this period as the DOS (Disk Operating System) era of the Operating Systems. Any serious breakthrough in AI will have an effect, equal to fifty times to that of Microsoft. The chances of this breakthrough happening from India are very high. Apparently, foreseeing this, Vijay incepted Stride.ai. Vijay took his first step towards success in 2013, a time when he moved back to India after completing his master’s degree in the U.S. Together with Sendhil, he weaved his aspirations with colors of veracity and started off Tationem, a company that focused on training and consulting needs in Data Science. With the right spirit and skills, the startups was a success and things got better when they were accepted into an international acceleration program called Lisbon Challenge, in the Fall of 2014. The following year, the duo pivoted from the consulting model, completed developing the first version of their platform, acquired their first customer, rebranded as Stride.ai, and made it into two more international programs, one in Paris called NUMA and other one in Santiago, Chile, StartUp Chile.

Vijay and Sendhil by then had money to build a team of 9 full timers. They selected to work with those who had interned with them and shown great potential. With the track record, formidable technology, and a solid team, they made into the most well known programs in the world, Techstars. Since graduating from Techstars (May 2016), there was no looking back.

Fighting against the odds of manpower, team Stride.ai has been fortunate to be a part of some of the best networks in the world, such as the Techstars. The company has acquired large customers, and things have been moving at a steady pace. Noticeably, the team has put sincere efforts to build this platform which visibly performs better than some of the most popular platforms in the similar area.

comprises of a host of proprietary algorithms, data models, and a semantic backend. We used to offer APIs for Sentiment Analysis, Subjective Sentiment Analysis, Text Summarization, Keyword Identifier, to name a few. But today, we use these technologies to offer intelligent workflows, which mimic human decision making and reduces massive efforts."

The employees are undoubtedly self-driven and motivated and the company ensures removing the possible bottlenecks that they encounter. The management team at Stride.ai comprises of industry veterans namely Sendhil Kumar - COO, Pratheek M. Srinath – CTO, Sagar M. Rao - Member Technical Staff, amongst others. In addition to this, the company has well supportive investors like NUMA (French Accelerator) and Techstars.

Narrating the future plans, Sendhil speaks, “In the last two years, we have found our sweet spot and we are excited about the next phase of our company.
